Richard Baither, PhD, is a clinical psychologist at Northern Virginia Psychiatric Group in Fairfax, Virginia. Dr. Baither offers compassionate individual, family, and group therapy to patients.
He specializes in treating generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, phobias, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) using an interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral therapy approach. He speaks with patients briefly before making the first appointment.

In his free time, Dr. Baither enjoys sailing, reading, and spending time with family and friends. He warmly welcomes patients to Northern Virginia Psychiatric Group and enjoys helping them improve their mood, thoughts, and emotions.
